How to upload TDS return online through Digital Signature

Step 1: Download the emsigner utility by log in to TRACES account and install it.

Step 2: Visit https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login and login with your TAN. If you are not registered under the e-filing site please register through your TRACES profile.

Step 3: After Log in click- e-file > Income Tax Forms > File Income Tax Forms

Step 4– Scroll down and click ‘File Now” under Deduction of tax at source

Step 5– Click ‘Let’s Get Started’

Step 6– Select appropriate ‘Form’, ‘Financial Year’ and ‘Quarter’. Select upload type whether ‘regular’ or ‘correction’. Attach the fvu zip file.

Step 7– Click “Proceed to E-Verify”

Step 8– Confirm “Proceed to e-Verify”

Step 9 Click on ‘I would like to verify using Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)’

Step 10– Check the box “I have downloaded and installed emsigner utility” and click continue.

Step 11– Select the necessary particulars and click sign.
